Decide whether the output is wet paste or dry powder
Paste and powder are different finished-product briefs. A paste project needs the preparation and wet-processing duties specified for its recipe. A powder project needs an agreed drying and milling route. A single machine described as a grinder should not be assumed to provide both complete processes.
Use the ginger, garlic and turmeric plant page to discuss separate equipment lists. If both product families are planned, identify shared preparation equipment and the downstream units that belong to each route.
Start with the actual root or bulb condition
Give the supplier ingredient varieties, typical dimensions, soil condition and the preparation already completed before delivery. Ask how washing, trimming or peeling will be carried out for each ingredient. A trial with cleaned, uniform samples will not represent a supply that normally arrives with variable soil and size.
Review a washer cum peeler or root vegetable cutter only for duties demonstrated with the intended raw material. Suitability for one root does not establish suitability for every bulb or preparation method.
Specify the paste texture and handling duty
For paste, describe the ingredient mix, target texture and acceptable visible fibres or particles. Trial representative material and inspect both texture and discharge. Ask how the product will move between processing and filling, including containers, pumps or manual handling in the proposed scope.
Document working batch size and the time for ingredient addition, processing, discharge and cleaning. Include any treatment and packaging requirements established by your product specialist. Grinding performance alone does not determine shelf life or the complete manufacturing process.
Define the powder route independently
For powder, specify the starting material condition, intended dried form and powder acceptance method. Ask whether drying happens before the quoted milling stage and who supplies the dryer. Record usable powder output separately from fresh raw-material input.
A trial should identify accepted powder, oversize material and any reprocessing needed. Discuss the powder route with the spice powder plant configuration where relevant. Confirm cleaning and product changeover requirements if the same equipment will handle ginger, garlic and turmeric.
Request two comparable project scopes
Send the paste and powder requirements as separate lines in your enquiry to AREIUM. Ask for a current-production option and a clearly described expansion option if both routes will not start together.
Use the spice grinding guide for the dry route and the factory acceptance trial guide to document sample results. This makes it easier to compare what each supplier has actually offered.
